I boycott any company who uses someone like Pam Anderson or Carrie Underwood for comercial. Scary Carrie turned me off Reese's cup

Nope. If I am able to claim that I respect other peoples right to their own belief's then how can I make my own decisions on what products to buy?
Example: Charlton Heston has had some (what I believe) are strange and radical ideas about gun control. Yet, I also know that he is a kind intelligent person with a lot of talent. Why should I deny myself access to an amazing body of work, including some classics of American film.
The kind of boycott that attempts to break lawful connections between spokespersons, their beliefs and the products they endorse are forms of blackmail, and trample on MY rights to make my own choices.

Yes. When companies hire a celebrity to endorse, it is because they see the celebrity as something that the people can identify with. And us buying that product just confirms that fact as far as they are concerned. Hence no, as I would not be able to identify with a celebrity who's views I do not agree with and therefore not the product/company that s/he endorses.

The only reason I boycott any celebrity is if they've done something to hurt children, like Michael Jackson. Some celebrities are tiresome, but if I like the product, I'll buy it.

All the time and not just because I dont like their views. If I dislike a celebrity and they begin to endorse a product I will stop using it. I cant stand Beckham and so dont use Geillette razors any more.

No. Celebrities are in their own world. I have boycotted products whose companies utilize child sweat shoppes, poor conditions for the workers, and practice blatant infractions of human rights. It's almost like I'm boycotting the world these days.Have a great day.

Long answer: I base my opinions of products on my own research and experience, and don't rely on celebrities to do my thinking. Just because a celebrity endorses a product, it doesn't mean that it is better than the competition.

Only if I didn't really want it. That's the honest answer. I don't really pay attention to commercials at all. I'd really like to boycott a lot of advertising, just because it's idiotic. :)

Yes! I will not go see any movie with Tom Cruise..he is an idiot and I will not support him. I will not go see a movie that involves Mel Gibson...he is a pig.
