Well..

considering that you used the past tense "was" in this question, it means that they are no longer there, so you didnt shoot any of them.

OR...there is no answer to this question because you did not specify if you shot a lion under a tree or a random lion.


OR... there is two lions left.


OR... there is three lions. Because even if you shoot one it doesn't mean its dead. It could just be wounded.

OR... there is three lions, the dead one would still be a lion

Well there could be one dead lion left since the other 2 might run.\

Or 2 lions alive and ready to attack you (wait, I think you'd already be dead in this case) and 1 dead.

Are you sur you shot @ a lion under a tree? They lie in trees not under them. So you could not have shot @ them.
