In order to move to Canada you will have to get either a Visa (such as student or work), or go through the immigration process.

Here is the Canadian Government Immigration website:

Your dog will need to have current immunization, including rabies vaccincation, and a certificate of health from a veterinarian. The birds and tortoise will need to have paperwork as well. Also depends what country you are coming from. You will be able to get the information needed from the above website or links from it.

Prepare to wait 6-18 months or longer depending on what kind of Visa or Immigration you want to do, and there are also fees involved.

Good Luck.

Not sure where you're coming from, but you will need immigration papers. There may be a problem with dog, birds and tortoise. Check with Immigration Canada to make sure. You can get there through the Government of Canada website.

check out the Canadian Food inspection agency website and they will give you all the info for importing pets to Canada and will give you detail on each type of animal.
