Cricket service is the best. I had Cricket service when I lived in AZ, I know when I lived in AZ, alotta people only had Cricket because it was cheaper then having a home phone. I moved to Bakersfield, CA, and we don't have Cricket here. I miss it. It was ALOT cheaper (and better) then then the Cingular service I have now.

The only disadvantage to having Cricket is that your phone only works in your coverage area. If you live on the outskirts of the coverage area, you'll probably experience more dropped calls. I never had many problems roaming within the coverage area, only when going to the outskirts. I just couldn't use my phone when I made trips out of state or the two times I had gone with my sister to pick up her husband an hour north from where I lived in Mesa because thats where the coverage area ended. That was a boonies area that I never had any need to go to anyway. My coverage area was large and covered all the major cities in my area, so the fact the phone only worked within that area was never an issue for me.

You can take a look at the coverage map for your area on the Cricket website.
