Instead of using a paper bound book and pen to write down anything people use a keyboard and a website to keep an online journal. Or it is a place for people to complain, express feelings and keep up with each other. And unlike a journal you keep in your bedside drawer or under the mattress a blog is open to anyone unless restrictions are incorporated.

"Blog" is short for "Weblog", or an online journal. It's like a diary but on the computer. You can go to 360.yahoo.com and set one up or look around at other people's to get an idea of what they're like.
