I've heard to use ice. It'll freeze it
I've been using proactive and it brings out the impurities before it actually works.

If you pop it, you will regret it. I have many acne scars on my face from poping zits.
Aside from putting acne creams/gels on it, you can put surgical tape over it. This prevents you from touching your zit with your fingers. The fingers are full of germs which will make the zit worse and take longer to heal. I find that if I put surgical tape on my zit, it goes away on its own very quickly.
If you do not have surgical tape, you can also use band-aid.
Drink lots of water and keep the zit dry.

Don't pop it! It will become even grosser if you do. Just use some coverup, it'll look fine. If you're a guy, don't worry about it. Guys always have zits.

Put cocoa butter lotion on it atleast three times a day. This will make it smaller. You could pop it and when you do put more cocoa butter on it and this will help so a ugly blotch wont be on your skin

Don't get rid of it. Embrace it as part of who you are. Name it and feed it. Go to the park together. See a movie. You two can grow to love one another and maybe eventually get married and have kids.

i agree with the last person don't put your fingers on it and if your hair is oily don't let your hair on your face to much. wash your face a lot. proactive is good, and ice really works. Just don't pop it!

Ice it to reduce swelling, drink water, and use anything with 10% benzoyl peroxide (i.e. oxy) on it. Don't pop - it'll be worse!
