Mathew Broderick - Wargames, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Bilouxi Blues, has been the most consistent of the brat pack actors.
Best Brat film which didn't star him but did Alley Sheedy and Emilo Estevez is the Breakfast Club.

You must be about my age- I'm glad I was young in the '80's- the music, the mousse, the clubs, the clothes- it was a nice fantasy for awhile! Pretty in Pink was one of my favorites and Breakfast Club. I love Ally Sheedy, and Rob Lowe is always gonna be hot to me. Is there any contemporary equivalent to the brat pack movies? I guess I'm 'too old' to know- but those were more innocent times than now.

Well the daddy of all bratpack movies was The Breakfast Club.
Judd Nelson was simply amazing, his character John Bender had a profound effect on every other character in the film,i believe he is still doing detention on a saturday lol
As for a contemporary equivelant i can't really see it but there are some good young actors out there but they all haven't been pulled together for one movie which is what happend for The Breakfast Club

Judd Nelson as Bender in The Breakfast Club. The classic moment when he tells the teacher to 'Eat my shorts' always goes down a storm in memory canals. Contemporary equivalent: too many mega stars - and too many 'girlie' movies.
