Factors for choosing a universty:
Is it well known for the program of study you want to enter?
Are the surrounding communities rich with culture?
Does it have clubs other than academic at the school?
Just look at schools that offer what you want to major in and discover how they differ, and this will help you distinguish which factors are important to you.

your question should be more precise, if u mean which subject u choose depends what you like to do and you are interested at, take a subject that u want to study!
