Imagine the guy you've been having a mad crush on for the past year tells you that he's gay. Whats worse is that you still haven't told him you digged him. How would you react?

Support him because he's going to be facing some hard times, especially if he's coming out to more than just friends. If you truly like him, dial it back down to friend and be a good friend to him.
My best friend for years was a gay man on whom I had a crush. I did tell him at one point and it really played games on our friendship. He was the best friend a girl could have... great fashion sense, great gossip... much better friend than a girlfriend because we had no jealousies to deal with.
Here's an opportunity to grow... go with it.

tell him in a joking manner that you used to like him before you found out that he was gay. If he takes it as a joke, then you can BOTH laugh it off. But if he doesn't, then at least you got that off your chest.

I'd be relieved that we weren't already dating. Can you imagine if he dumped you for another guy?
