were going to move our computer so will it lose its memory when we unplug it? plz help

You dont have to worry about unplugging your computer and packing it as you will NOT lose any of your data on your Hard drive....Be sure to use the same hardware components such as the monitor etc which you used earlier at the time of installing the OS..

Your memory is stored inside the computer, it will not hurt a thing if you unplug it

Turn it off in the usual way. Unplug it.

You'll be fine.

I was terrified the first couple of times I moved my computer. It was fine.

Treat it gently, and move it carefully.

No, you won't lose anything! I unplug all my gear whenever there's a thunderstorm in the area. No problem at all!

turn it off first then unplug it and it will be fine, i always unplug mine during a thunder storm just incase of a electrical surge

make certain it is off first or you'll get a voltage spike and burn everything out
