If you ask me South Africa. It is modern and wild at the same time. You can be in a city and swear you were somewhere in Europe or in the USA, and an hour later you're out in the middle of no where.
There are a great variety of things to see, from wildlife to infinite beaches, canyons to fishing towns.
You can ride an Ostrich or pat a cheetah. You can surf the waves or hike across mountains or foot paths along the sea.

Depends totally on your personal likes and dislikes. As the German saying goes, 'One man's owl is another's nightingale'.
Some like water, some like mountains, some like s*x. ;-)
Decide what YOU like and then look for places that offer what you prefer.
It's a little like asking someones favorite food. How many different answer do you think you'll get? Most will come with what they like. Not very helpful unless they are your friends and this is the way you get to know them...

I'd say NYC, just cause of Broadway and all the shopping and everything that goes on there, but in the world Germany or England!
