Went to the hospital yesterday and the doc said there was too much blood in my urine...and i may have kidney stones. He asked me whether i have seen any blood, but i haven't. This morning i saw quite a bit of blood and well, it stung a tiny bit.

Do you think i may have one? or could it be something else?? and if so, any suggestions to help relieve it.

Could be kidney stones, my brother has them all the time and he says they are very painful. If yours didn't hurt really bad it could be smaller ones and you wouldn't always be able to see the blood either, sometimes it not enough to be seen with the unaided eye. If I were urinating a lot of blood, I would be concerned that something was wrong.

You can have blood in your urine and not see it without a microscope. You can also have x-rays done and the stones may not show up in the x-rays for sure...they may be hidden or obscured in the x-rays by stool etc...Drinking lots of water is the best remedy until you get x-rays done...if you have a lot of stabbing pains in your lower back and difficulty urinating it could be a stone and you should get medical help right away.

Tell the doctor. The only tip I have is drink TONS of water so that it comes out quick. I heard it hurts like heck and I would expect it to. Good luck
