Yes, it's okay to have separate beds, in fact my hubby and I have had separate rooms for years, he has a painful medical problem that causes him more pain if I move around in the same bed with him and I have a deviated septum that causes me to snore louder than a jet plane, we just "visit" each others beds often. :-)

Absolutely, categorically not. What is more important? Disturbed sleep or breaking your physical bond?
I am married to a man whose ex wife decided that they were going to have separate beds because she 'had a bad back'. The space between the beds was never crossed, there was no physical intimacy and the emotional intimacy crumbled, or maybe the chicken came before the egg.
When we married we vowed that would never happen to us. We start out wrapped up with each other and then retreat to opposite sides of our large bed to sleep making sure we are holding hands or twining our feet as we fall asleep. We remain close in every way. Buy a bigger bed!

When I first got married I couldn't stand sleeping with some one else I needed my space a king size for myself is what I was use to, my wife flipped out when I mentioned of sleeping apart but after 12 years together I can't stand sleeping by myself it's like a security blanket type thing. Maybe give it some time and you can get use to it?

I have my own room. We still sleep in the bed together half of the time but I move around a lot in my sleep and he steals the blankets. I like having my own bed when I need it.

lucy and ricky did it my grand parents did it . never a diffrent room though becuase the bed room is between lovers you can always put twins together with the exception of 4 inches or so but never further then reaching each other to seperate each other a lil more if needed but as close as possible becuase you two need to keep as much intamacy as possible thats marriages.

Definitely. That's my plan for the future should I get into a cohabitating relationship. I love to snuggle up and nap or snooze with a honey, but when it comes to sleep, I need the space.

What ever works. There have been times I have been tempted to switch from a queen sized bed to two smaller ones just because my husband snores.

Yes,

Me and my husband has separate rooms. He snores and I grind my teeth.

It don't matter if you sleep in the same bed heck you are asleep what matters is what you do together when you are awake.
