If a race once complained about certain words, then what is the purpose or end result for those who once complained, when they join the Military and use words of SIR, YES, SIR?

I never knew it to be an issue when I was in the service. That's the deal, and everyone knows it going in. You get the entire picture -- very clearly -- in boot camp. That was my experience, at least.

I do not understand your question. But I will tell you this: the military was just about the first large organization to become desegregated. As a consequence, many good black people have come up by way of the military. Colin Powell is my favorite example, but there are lots. There is something very noble about a chain of command that recognizes they cannot afford to waste time and energy on racism.
