my 14 year old son has to play the role of cleopatra for his year end drama. Can anybody advice me on the dress, makeup and jewelery? Are shoes needed for this role?

i pity this poor boy.....but you wrap a sheet around, toga style, with gold, or tan shirt underneith. (remember, it's a girl) lol, then gold sandals of some sort, and lots of egyptian like jewelery. you could brobably get a cheap cleopatra wig at a costume store, but if not, then just get a gold headband. and for make up, just dark eyeshadow, blush, and eyeliner, going way out, very thick. and if he'll let you, but heavy lipstick on. i doubt he would like that very much. lol

thats sad. cleopatra as a guy? petition the director...lol. and you have to make the costume too? yikes.
nnah, barefoots good. yeah some egyption looking necklace (something gold and noticable) and a long, rick-looking robe. probably a dark red color with cold trim or something. makeup=lots of eyeliner going way outside the eye...you know the egyption look.
good luck! hope he breaks a leg! (in the good way =)
