i'm not a yankees fan...so i don't miss it, but it too bad that the team's best outfielders are on the DL...

i don't think it will matter too much, since it looks like NY is getting hot, and should be able to make it to the Wild Card...Boston may collapse since their pitching has been a little weak lately (especially Beckett who has given up quite a bit of runs)

Randy Johnson and Mussina need to pick it up to account for the missed runs that Matsui would have provided

I miss him along with Gary Sheffield,Robinson Cano,& A-rod (oh,right he's still playing-ineffectively) I would also like to see Carl Pavano and the former Marlin. Basically the Yanks would be in 1st place if all of these players (or some) were available.

I totally miss him! So, do the Yankees. He's a big part of why the Yankees are such a great team. I hope he comes back REALLY soon!!!!!!!
