what happens when you report someone to yahoo for inappropriate language on yahoo messenger?

Pretty much nothing. But, the question is, who is using that language? Is it a 'friend' or somebody who's trying to talk to you?
If a friend, tell them you don't like it; otherwise, put delete them from your contact list and put them on ignore.
