If it were me, I wouldn't tell them, simply because they don't need to know everything that goes on in my life. If they find out, they find out. I'm far past the point in life where I'm seeking my parents' approval.

I say if you have understanding parents go for it.If its going to ruin your relationship with them no. I'm sure you love them and they love you but why should you have to chosen your parents over what makes you happy.

1st question: how old are you?
2nd question: when did you decide you were lesbian?
3rd question: when were you abused?
4th: how do you expect them to react?
All of those things enter in to whether you tell them or not (although truth should always prevail)

do u think they will be accepting to it?
but either way i dont think you should just come out and tell them..just say something like.."how would you feel if i was attracted to women? would you think any different of me?" and see how they take it from there.
if they truely love you, they will be accepting to whatever makes you happy.
