*IF* you are saying your External USB hard drive is not working and you're using Windows 98SE..........

Most likely you need a Driver for your External drive... THe drive should have come with a disc with the drivers on it as well as any other software the drive might need.


*IF* you do NOT have a disc for your External Drive, siply go to the manufacturer's website and look for Customer Support, or Downloads. On most company websites you can enter your model number and it will take you to all the info they have for that Model......
