The guy is afraid of rejection. Could you imagine how he would feel if he asked you out and you said no? How would you feel? If you give a guy a little hint that you would say yes to a date, he will be more likely to take the chance and ask you.

He's just not that in to you. When a guy likes you and means it, he will go to great lengths to capture you and keep you. He will ask you out, call you, make all the moves. Why? Because he thinks you're worth it. When he's just not that in to you, he lets you do all the work. Let this one go. If you don't, he will when the girl worth chasing comes along.

guys have a fear of rejection that dwarfs a womans fear of rejection.... also, a girl can tell her friends "but I really like the guy" and her friends will usually not ridicule. if a guy likes a girl he seems to need the approval of his friends.
