Where I live, 16 to get a permit, and 6 months after you get your permit you can go for your license. But you can't drive after 9pm until you are 18, or 17 if you take drivers ed for 2 months 9-5.

Here in Idaho, you can be 15 1/2. However, after driver's ed, you have to have a temporary permit for 4 months where you can only drive with a parent or someone over 25 present, and THEN you can get your license. If you are under 16 when you get it, you can't drive at night.
I was 16 when I got mine!

in California you have to be 16 to get a license with restrictions (IE cannot drive with other people under 18 after a certain time) It is 18 for one with no restrictions

16 to get a permit, but you must pass a couple of other tests in order to receive your full-fledged license.

Same here, but there is talk of raising the age because of the high rate of accidents among teenage drivers.
