Tony Stewart is the only one that appears overweight lately. I saw a picture of him standing the fence at his last win and he has penguin shape now!!!! He is going to hurt his big self if he doesn't slow down with that fence!!!
Also, fashion-wise, I don't think those firesuits are very figure flaw forgiving.

Okay so Tony is getting a little chunky guys. As long as he can drive the way he does I don't even want to hear it. Seems like the whole world revolves around appearances these days and that's really sad. Just because he's not anorexic like Gordo or Johnson...
And Nascar drivers are not overweight as a general rule so this is a dumb question

Being a Hoosier, Mister Tony is one that should lay off the platter biscuits and gray each morning! Mark Martin on the other hand, would be an example of a guy that is fit as a fiddle- he works out religiously several times a week. For most of them, the grind of the season and the drive keeps them mostly trim.

I am about 5'9" and 142 lbs. Not Fat at all! My driver's suit makes me look like the Pillsbury Dough boy! Some suits are better than others, but most drivers are in pretty good shape anyway. Except for Tony Stewart, Jeff Green, and a few others.

Some NASCAR drivers happen to be bigger, both in height and weight, than other drivers. What really counts is that they can drive those race cars, on any kind of track(they also do road courses)

I think Tony Stewart has really gained some weight.He not only looks thicker in the gut every week when they show or talk to him,but you can tell his face is getting fatter too.

Most drivers are very short. 5'8' or so. There are a couple of exceptions, but TV makes 'em look bigger since they are so short. The firesuits aren't very slimming either.

all they do is sit in there cars all the time and drink beer.
they never go for a run.

I can only think of one or two that might be a little heavy,other than them I don't really see any that are even chubby,I think it may be their driving suits that make them look heavy.
