wistera is taking over the yard, what can I do to get it under control or I may have to get rid of it altogher, any ideas? What would be the best thing to use if I was to get it out of the yard, it has choked two large trees to death?? The yard was very neglected before I moved in.

i have seen wisteria grow over a hundred feet with vines 6 inches in diameter
you can cut it back to control the spread of the vine and take some time to train it
after a severe pruning it will grow fast so check it at least once a week
then enjoy it ..... they are incredible to have and smell terrific

If you want to keep it, you will have to prune it severely. As you have noticed, it is a vigorous grower. The perfume is so fabulous, I would keep it myself.

trim it back to the size you want or kill it with roundup for bushes
