Coins payed with money order. coins were sent ups. Differance in value may be 4000 dollars. Perhaps a mistake on senders part had been detected. Can one be forced to pay the differance in value or return coins. Could one simply deny the mistake? What are costumer's rights and resposibilities?

There are two answers really. The legal one would depend upon whether it was an honest mistake or not. If they sent you much more coins than you ordered, or sent the incorrect merchandise, then they could contant you to send it back and they would correct the error. The law saying you can keep the merchandise refers to unsolicited merchandise you didn't order. Here, you ordered, they simply made an error. If they sent you too little, you would think this is fair. If the dealer just sent you a better quality specimen than you were expecting, I think it would be his loss, since he is supposed to be the expert.

The second answer would be moral. Personally, if it was a honest mistake I would contact them and let them know. What you should do is up to you.

All sales are final.

You have no idea why this seller is doing what he did. Maybe he wants you as a steady customer maybe the coin looks better but is a scam.

Unless he really complains then you may want to get a full refund and send him the coins back but legallly you are in the right to keep everything.

if your in the USA, and received them VIA US postal service, you may keep them without paying any more.
other wise if they proceed with legal action get an attorney
until that time keep them and don't be concerned about it, it was a mistake on there part not yours
