This could be a person dead or alive. But, when you choose this person you would be alive in the present. You only get 24 hours as this person - so, what to do with 24 hours? You can't get extra time in any way, shape or form.
Me - I'd be either Jesus or Allah and stop all this bloodshed in the Middle East, stop at a StarBucks because they didn't have Starbucks when he first lived on earth, take in a baseball game at Fenway Park, go see Al Gore's movie about Global Warming, then I'd fix the ozone layer, create a solar based form of energy that could be utilized by all countries in the world which would result in the end of poverty, and then maybe I'd go out for dinner with Uma Thurman. You could make a list of 10 things you'd want to do as this person.

I think it would be great to be in the mind of a famous designer, like Michael Kors or Donnatella Versace. I think it must be amazing to be so creative and create things that people wear.
