Why do people make fun of other people because of their weight or whatever? Hello people we all came from the same place. So what is uo with all the name calling and all the mean and hateful suggestions?

Sadly some people are superficial or just plain hate full. People want to judge on someones weight, height, race, age..ect...I try my hardest to see what people are in the inside. I don't care what people look like. Looks can get you only so far in life. MLK JR basically said how i feel:
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.” I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood. I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice. I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.

The ones that are calling names and stuff are probably the type of people who have to put someone down just to make themselves feel better. It has alot to do with self-esteem and insecurity issues.

I think most people don't really feel all that confident or happy about themselves, and unfortunately, most of them weren't born with the knack of making others feel good. Since there's almost nowhere to learn this ability, most people just settle for kicking others to stoke their own sense of self-worth.
It's a crappy technique that really doesn't make most people feel better, but it's all most of them have. If you really want to make your world a better place, learn how to make others feel good about themselves, and teach other people to do it. Might start a positive trend for a change.

the reason people make fun of other people is because the're very insecure so they think that by making fun if other people that makes them better....assholes in my opinion.......unfortunately we live in a society where they tell us how we're suposed to look and what to wear

To make themselves look or feel better about themselves. Actually it just makes them look like jack asses.

usually they are insecure about themselves in some sort of way. so they pick on ppl to make them feel better.
