Because most feel like they cant turn to their parents, either for fear they will get upset, or because they are embarrassed to talk to their parents.. same reason why when we were kids we told our friends how we felt and screwed up cause we were asking other kids what the right thing is to do , so we were getting immature advice and still got in trouble..lol.. The question u should be asking is where are all the parents at while their kids are using the internet to ask all these questions, where is the parental supervision knowing that there are so many pervs and freaks online.. ??? True????

Very true indeed. I think a lot of it has to do with the way parents are portrayed on the tv. Stupid bungling idiots that only want to have sex and do their own thing and could not understand anything that goes on with a teen if they had to. What respect is shown on the tv of parents? NONE!! Degrade the parents and where can you go for any help? Online and hope the perverts don't get to you or that maybe they do so you can have what you think is love.

Your answers are in the answers ...

Look at AndraLynn - obviously whatever school she went to, or is going to, failed to do its job. "more worse" "affense"? Today's education system preaches that children themselves know all the answers, and parents are simply material providers for the childrens' needs.

Then look at TV, and see how often - in those stupid STUPID 1/2 situation comedies - parents and fathers are portrayed as big bellied, farting, beer drinking buffoons. Parents ARE complete idiots - didn't you get the memo? - why should any kid look to them for answers or advice?

Lastly ... the structure of the asker rating the best answer is instructive. How often, in critical life situations, is the best answer the most attractive one? How often, in reality, is the best answer something we simply don't want to hear? But by telling the asker "you know what the best answer is, pick it", the self-centered culture continues to cruise forward.

But then again, it could be that most parents are now divorced, and are too busy trying to get their own relationship, get their own money, get their own rocks off, to even see their kids, let alone know them well enough to give them good advice.

... both sides, from a Libra ...

I certainly have the comparable concern with my in regulations, and my very very own mothers and fathers besides for the main section. the two worst examples I certainly have are while my daughter became into 3, I suffered a miscarriage. i became into extremely distraught, and my husband requested his mothers and fathers in the event that they might take her for the day. They requested why, understanding what had occurred basically the day in the previous. He became into so offended he snapped at them and reported we did no longer skinny it became into solid for our daughter to make certain me in that condition. they did no longer get it. Then they desperate to circulate around the different area of the county. remember they simply have one grandchild. She had not at all had a sleepover there so she have been given all her braveness and referred to as and reported considering you're shifting away and that i won't see you for a pair of years, am i able to have a sleepover in the previous you go away? They reported no they have been too busy for that. some human beings are basically no longer meant to be grandparents even nonetheless that's coronary heart breaking, and makes me relatively offended. My in straightforward terms propose could be t hat your husband could tell them t hat considering your mothers and fathers are deceased, they're the only grandparents the youngsters have and you elect help, are they or are they no longer, prepared to pitch in. in the event that they way sure, then you definitely would desire to tell them which you ex %. a decision back once you ask, and for the help to be performed willingly and to no longer attempt to make you sense undesirable for asking. solid success

Your right. But that may be a question for parents. Why are their kids on the internet and what they are asking not being monitored? Hmmm. Letting the internet and T.V raise your kids.
