I think you heed to expand your knowledge base. I don't want to be linked as conservative or liberal. That puts my inside a box, and when people are boxed up they can't expand their thought.
I walked out of the Republican Re-Organizational meeting for my county in 1986 (?) because the Christian Coalition had been organized through Pat Robertson at the grass roots level, in churches, so he could run for presidency. That is uncontitutional ! I was floored ! Ever since then, the Republican Party has been inundated with fundamentalistic church members, and I stopped attending party meetings because not only were they opened with prayer (they originally were opened with the Pledge of Allegiance), the prayer was by a fundamentalist church member ! It was an atrocity ! I wondered how someone Jewish or Moslem would feel.
You see, the Conservative Party (what we know as Republicans) is now a party of Exclusion. If you want to be active in party politics on a local level, you have to go to the correct church, etc. I am not gussing about any of this ; I lived it ! In order to run for any major political office today in the USA as a Republican, you HAVE to have the support of the Christain Coalition.
So, I excluded my SELF from partisan politics, and I could certainly be considered Liberal in some areas. It offends me deeply that you have accused me of hating the United States of America. I have lived outside the USA and I SEE what real hate is toward my country on occasion.
Just because I don't think the way you tell me to think, and don't believe everything you tell me to believe, you are calling me spiteful, horrible names, and that is offensive and personal.
God Bless America ......... God Bless You, though you have thrown a stone at me today. You do have the freedom to name-call, just as I have the freedom to vote as I will. You are drawing a line in the sand, and it is not kind.

Darlin' KissMyGodzilla.

Speaking as a long-time, card-carrying liberal (ACLU, Greenpeace, ASPCA, Humane Society of America, charter member of MoveOn.org, and too many others to mention here) I can tell you that we liberals DO NOT HATE AMERICA, nor the United States of America.

On the contrary, we ADORE our country. We love our country. We hate to see it being dismantled by God-fearin' bible-thumpin' quasi-literate, warmongering, kill-happy, nuke-loving, bobble-headed bushmen!

Do not ever make the mistake of saying we hate this country.

Just because the only thing YOU understand, Kiss, is hatred, does not mean that WE cannot feel other emotions.

We firmly believe that the one surefire way to love America is to stop insane people from destroying her from the inside-out and that's precisely what the bushmen are doing even as we sit here and mindlessly debate stupid questions.

No, hatred is reserved for truly hateful things, and America, so far, has not earned that emotion.

We'd love to improve her, because Lord knows she could use some improvement.

But with a "president" who states "It's just a G---D----- piece of paper" about OUR Constitution ... well, I'm scared for the future of our country.

Hate it? Heck no.

I love our country.

Wonder if you do???

Doubt it.

But you, like all bushmen, love to point your fingers in the faces of others and accuse, accuse ACCUSE and while we're left standing there trying to defend ourselves, you rob us of our freedoms.

Which of us hates America?

It ain't liberals.

well for one, not all liberals hate america, just as not all conservatives love Bush. I for one, feel blessed to live in this country, but I'm just not happy with some of the ways the government works

Since when is wanting to save something you love dearly "hating" it, darlin'?

It seems to me that the people p!ssing on the Constitution and the people who think that everyone should leave the Country who have any thoughts of their own are the ones who hate America. They seem to think Germany got a raw deal in WWII and they'd like to do a Hollywood remake.

Hate, darlin'? I have no hate. Extreme sadness and disappointment, yes, tons of that, but no hate.

There we have it folks. If you don't agree with the President or the Rupublicans you hate America. If you go along with anything they do you love America. Why can't you love your country and feel sorry for what it is doing and where it is going. Talk about brainwashing.

They are generally Well traveled or they are people who have lived outside AmeriKa long enough to be deprogrammed so they can see AmeriKa for what it is and not what the media and the President would have them believe...

They are knowledgable enough to see through the B.S. about what a wonderful country AmeriKa is.
