in school we have been taught about the third world being africa and the first world being europe but forgot to tell us about second could you please explain to me if you know.

Wow, whatever your school is teaching you is waaay off the mark.
First World: Western nations, defined by the United States, not Europe.
Second World: Communist nations, defined by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (which no longer exists)
Third World: Poor nations that fell in neither sphere of influence. So yes, Africa is in there, but this group includes any number of Southeast Asian nations, Latin American nations, etc.

First world is Europa , USA,Canada etc. Second world is Russian Group,And third world,is Africa ,Ashia,Latin American cuontrys etc.
