because if during band practice i would set my water somewhere on the ground them he would move by me and when i moved somewhere eles he would stand behind me or something iam soo confused cuz he has known i liked him all year and even called me a retard..lol but now hes acting like he likes me he even listens to my conversations when i talk to other ppl them he'll say a joke to make me talk to him its all weird helppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plz

most likely yes! guys tend to act that way if they like someone...especially if they know that person likes them..and the thing with him calling you a retard, guys always do that if they like someone..they tend to use hate to get girls to find them very attractive on the inside and out..Good luckk!!!
