well the way I take mine apart is 1st I drain the mattress, then remove it and ur liner along with ur heater. If ur just moving it to another spot then u can just move ur frame in sections but if ur taking it apart for awhile then as u undo each part make sure u mark them so will know where what part goes where if u decide to put it up again. This is for those who have never put water in or out of a water-bed. Fill a water hose with water from an outdoor spigot, if possible. Once the hose is full and water is filling the water-bed, unscrew the hose from the outside spigot and let it drain. It will drain the water from the bed.

EMPTY the water first!

Remove the matress bag, liners and heater.

Unscrew the bolts on each corner that hold the side walls and head board together.

Start moving 'em.
