First of all I think ppl need to stop assuming she thinks darker skinned ppl are ugly. She just asked a valid question. For you people of color don't pretend like you have never heard the "your so black jokes" so don't be fake!!!! But i digress.....all shades of human beings are beautiful!!!

I'm dark skinned too and have been called several names, some blacks go to far extents to not get dark the thing about it that I don't understand is if that person is confident and comfortable in their own skin why should you or anybody else have anything to say about it. You would almost think they're jealous meaning the people who always have something to say about someone blackness. I am finally at the age of 24 starting to realize and love my beautiful choclate skin I mean I really do love it now and so I feel if I love it screw what anybody else has to say, its not like they have to live with it anyway. Just my 2 cents.

No!! The color of a person's skin doesn't matter, the outer appearance of a person doesn't matter!!! What matters is: Is that person kind, thoughtful, loving, caring, giving, goes out of their way to help there fellow human beings? That is where people are either beautiful or ugly -- Inside of themselves!

nope, not at all. im really big against discrimination, and everyone is beautiful in there own way, everyone also has a fault. but thats what makes everyone different. the people who call others ugly for their color, heritage, family, or any other issue the person can't control, those people are the weak ones, for not accepting people for who they are.... if someone called you ugly because of the color of your skin. please dont worry about it.... im sure your beautiful :D

Some are ugly, but it usually has to do with proportion, teeth, or what have you. I don't think anyone can be called ugly based on how dark their skin is, unless it is by some ignorant fool.

What kind of question is that? Are you black? How can you not think you are beautiful? WTF? Where are your parents, they didn't teach the beauty and divine presence in your brown skin? You need a wooping and a course in history. Don't you know that life originated in Africa (where darker skinned people reside) so the original concept of beauty was created there. Girl, you are the ultimate beauty. Of course people of color are not ugly.

Girl haven't you heard black is beautiful: the black the berry the sweeter the juice, I am a carmel colored black women and I love to see a dark dark burnt black man or women, THey are so pretty to me I wish I was darker sometimes you see other people (whitey) trying to get dark tell me why because dark is where it is at!! That is just me though
