What's the shortest a dress can be to look good?

I have this sun dress I guess you could call it, and it only goes to mid thigh. Do you think that is too short. I don't really wear dresses so I have no idea about this stuff.

You should be ok, but I would suggest wearing it when you go to the pool or beach. Try laying your hands down to your side... if the dress if shorter than wear your middle finger, then I would say it's too short. But if it's longer, you're good. That's how I figure out of my dress/skirt is too short.

Sun dresses aren't short;) they are meant to be short...you could wear it on the beach, or going out in your free time and if you choose some cool accessories it will look very fresh and nice...

I think it may cause a little stirr on where your going. If your clubbing or going to dinner with a boyfriend or somthing, it's fine. But if you're going to see a play or show or somthing, I'd pick one a little longer.

As long as you feel comfortable in it, it's not too short. Just make sure you are not flashing people, but as you described it, sounds good to me.

well i think it should be ok if u go to the beach with it, like over a swim suit. but to go somewere else with it i would say that that is one of the best ideas....

as long as it completely covers your underwear, then it's long enough. but it has to entirely cover your underwear AND be a couple of inches past it or else your underwear will show every time you bend over.
