i was in class ,and some guys were jokin around, and asked me to the dance for one of his friend, who was standin right there, , and i said yes, but he didnt even want to go to the dance. he was so embarrassed he ran out of the room, and his friends just kept laughing the whole period cuz he didnt want to go with me.;... what should i do? say its ok, we dont have to go?

well, the same thing happened to me kind of.. it was 2 years ago... we were already at a dance and i liked this guy for a long time so my friends asked him if he would ask me to dance.. he came up to me and asked me and then said find me on the next slow dance. i was very excited and stuff until the final slow dance came. My friends and i went to go find him and he had disappeared. I looked over into this like sub-room type thing and his friends were all like "dude, you cant do that to her" and tried to push him in but he wouldn't come.. i remember running away and crying cause its like the whole school knew. now i look back and thought that was stupid i should have just not danced with him and found someone else. He did write in my yearbook though that he owed me a dance. It made me very happy and i could tell he felt bad. I think you should just tell him it is ok and you two dont have to go together and then find another date or else go with a group of friends. Have the time of your life and you never know he could come and ask you to dance. If he doesn't want to go with you though, why would you want to go with him? well, hope it works out!

tell him to pick you up at the proper time and go to a movie dont go to the dance when anywon asks just say you never went to the dance and leave at that things happen for a reson this my be a love conection or just a joke you my have a good time with the guy and he wont have to here about anything from his friends

Call him at home, when he isn't with all his buddies. You won't believe how different guys are by themselves! Keep it light and funny, tell him that even though you would have loved to go with him, it's okay if he just wants to go with the guys. Tell him that you will be there with friends ( and make sure you go!) and that you would like to have one dance with him though! Go have fun!

Ahh, trying times. He's embarrassed, so give him the chance to calm down and let him know it's okay either way.
