Can I use a flash drive to get more memory for my laptop? I'm currently playing the godfather on my laptop and enjoying it alot however scarface and sopranoes are coming out and I want to play them as well but I won't have enough memory and I dont want to wait on a computer shop to install more memory and spend the money.

I use a flash drive on my toshiba laptop all the time... without adding drivers...
and ram is not that hard to install on most laptops, just know what you are doing and what type of ram you need.

In brief it is a pen like device which you can carry in your pocket and use it as a floppy or CD, but with better storage capacity, safety and stability. It needs to drivers to be get identified by the PC or laptop. Just plug-in to an empty USB port and transfer file(s) to/from laptop or PC.

Flash drives are used like discs, they simply can have material saved onto them. It also depends on the size of your flash drive as to how much information can be stored. Some can store as much as 200 floppy discs. Hope this helps you out.

No flash drives are for transfering memory from one computer to another. They do not add room to your computer's memory. Sorry.
