I definitely would. I went to Tennessee and stayed in a log cabin there. I loved it because it was near nature, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I loved it so much that I am looking for log cabins in Illinois now. I haven't had any luck yet, but I'm still looking. Do you know of any in Illinois. Please feel free to e-mail you or anyone else can e-mail with info. I haven't any luck either on finding any just to stay for the week-end in Illinois either. Do you know of any?

It has been my lifelong dream to live in a log cabin. There's a real special feeling being in 1. That is 1 of my near future goals. I want 2 build my own. Moving 2 Appalachia in Oct. Looking 4 a place 2 settle & build/ who knows-maybe I'll find 1 already built, 4 sale in a nice setting. Maybe someone out there can help in that search.??

I'll say yes with *some* misgivings! I would like it because I like the solitude aspect, but I would surely miss the modern conveniences of indoor plumbing and (heehee) internet! Great question!!
