one more question!
I would start to believe that everything I strongly believed in was a lie. So this will be my new belief!
We, human, need to believe, this is how we are, we need to belong to a group of people that share a belief, we need to feel secure that there is something out there that makes us unique!
So we cannot stop believing, we will simply change our belief and start protecting it, getting the power from the group!

After getting over the shock, I'd reexamine how I know what is true and what is not. The study of how to know is the branch of philosophy called 'epistemology'. Do you take something to be true because an authority says it is, or because the majority of your neighbors think it is, or because you saw it with your own eyes, etc.? The foundational assumptions of your world view (Is reality real and outside you, or is what you see just made up? etc.) is called your metaphysics. If I was going through a metaphysical crisis, then I would need to reexamine my epistemology.

All of the above.
Its all a part of grieving, but when you come to accept it, it feels really good, to know that the truth is what sets you free.

"For God so loved the world that WHOSOEVER [that means you] If you BE-LIVE In Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" Now I do not know what you believe but I know in WHOM I be-live in, and when Chirst returns I will have everlasting life with the one that gave His whole life for me, now let me ask YOU, there is a 100% death rate, that means you die, what you be-live in if it is not Christ of The Bible is useless, do you understand the only Way God provided FOR YOU to get out of the prison of death YOU are in? Thats the risk you take sometimes when believing. What I would
do would depend on a case by case scenario.

i would forgive the person who lied to me . so i wouldnt go on careing any resentments that could lead to depresion or abuse of drugs and alcohol. also i would learn not to put high expections on any human being because we are all at fault , none are perfect and we all are guilty of lying to one person or more

I would first regret for a few minutes, then, I would continue with life.
