Can somebody answer some questions about Pirates of the Carribean 2?

1) Is Davey Jones the captain of the sea and everyone wants his heart so that they can control the sea?
2) Why was Will's Dad on Jack Sparrow's boat? Was it because Davey Jones sent him to tell Jack that his debt is due?
3) Why did Jack Sparrow want Davey Jones' heart? Was it so he could bargain for his soul back?
4)Why did Craggin want Jack Sparrow? Was it to do Davey Jones' work by killing Jack?
5) Wth game was Will, his dad, and Davey Jones playing? Yahtzee?
6) Why can't Davey Jones go on land?

1) Yes, the East india trading company wanted it so they could stop pirates from pillaging their imports/exports
2) It's not specified why Bootstrap went, I believe he was sent, yes.
3) Jack wants it to bargain with, yes, to get his soul back.
4) The Kraken just does what Davy Jones says, it was to kill Jack
5) The game is loosely known at Pirates dice, it's the dice version of the card game bull****. You one up the other player by betting how many of a certain number are under yours and the other players cups. If you call someone's bluff and are right you win, they lose, and the third party leaves even.
6) Cause he's a ghost of the sea, he controls it at the expense of being limited to it

1. Davey Jones is the captain of The Flying Dutchman, which had the power to control the Kraken, one of the biggest creatures believed to destroy ships. Everyone wanted Davey Jone's heart because the keeper of the heart could pretty much control Davey Jones - because they could just stab the heart and kill him.

2. Yes. Sparrow's debt was due. I'm not so sure what his debt was in the first place, though.

3. That, and because he could control Davey Jones, The Flying Dutchman, and the Kraken, making him ruler of the open seas.

4. The Kraken (it's not Craggin) didn't exactly "want" Jack Sparrow.. it just tore boats apart, ate people, and caused destruction all over. Davey Jones couldn't exactly control every movement of the Kraken, but could control it to destroy any ship and all of its crews.

5. I'm not sure of the name of the game, but it was betting and guessing what numbers were on the dice under the cups.

6. Because he's a freaking sea creature guy. It's like a whale or a dolphin or whatever - if they get on land, they can't move, if they can't move, they die. I'm not sure about Davey Jones though.. because he's more of an octopus guy.

1) He claims that he controls the sea and in a sense he does. Because he cannot die unless his heart is pierced, he can go anywhere and take over any ship and kill anyone he wants. They want his heart so that they can blackmail him to do whatever they want him to do.

2) Yes, Will's dad was on the ship to give Jack the black mark.

5) The game was more of a made up game I think. I could be wrong on this one but I'm pretty sure it was just made up.

6) I honestly don't know but I have my own guesses. I think it has to do with why he cut out his heart. If it was because of a woman, he cant stand to go on land because women are on land and he may fall in love again. Or if it is the sea that he loves, he can't be away from the ocean for too long. Or it is possibly because he is so not human now, he just can't go on land that often.

I'm probably wrong on number six but other than that the others should be okay.
