I have to go to a 21st birthday party on Friday dressed up as a Moll. I don't have a clue what to wear. I've just finished uni, so am too broke to buy a whole new outfit, but could prob stretch to £10 - £20, but don't know what to buy! I am a size 16, so don't want to wear anything too revealing. Help!!

Think 1920's and go for a slinky dress, headband with a feather or something nice pinned to it, long, long beads (down to your waist if possible), pointy shoes, long cigarette holder, rosebud type lips and long lashes. Just think of all those ganster movies, or get the DVD of Chicago to get a few ideas. Hope you have a great time.

Aren't Fancy Dress parties irritating? They're bad enough for kids, but adult ones are horrible. Think Tallulah from 'Bugsy Malone'.
