"The Jazz Singer" starring Al Jolson.

On a sort of unrelated issue, Al Jolson is buried at a cemetery across from the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles, California. Motorists on the freeway can see Jolson's monument. Between two pillars is a big statue of Jolson, which is overlooking stuff on a hill. There is a small pond that goes down the hill to the lower level.

I might have the details mixed up, but basically Jolson has a giant monument to himself on a hill with a pond flowing down.

The Jazz Singer, starring Al Jolson, is generally considered the first talking picture ever made. Jolson's prophetic opening line, "Wait a minute! Wait a minute! You ain't heard nothin' yet!" were the first words spoken on a widely distributed film by a movie actor.
