Seems like you two are a couple with an attitude... ;-) To me, the TT is just an over-priced toy just like someone said...I think your hubby is right... It is practically a two seater not a four seater...Never expect the rear passengers to thank you for the ride... I'd go for a Nissan 350Z (though it's a two seater), a Mitsubishi Eclipse or a Mazda RX8... Even though these three cars are known as female magnets, it doesn't matter if you two are happily married... Anyway, i think you'd better forget about the Audi and go for a Japanese car.. These three models will definetely satisfy you both and they have a better status than the Audi TT now... And you'll never have to waste your time in garages.. If i were your hubby, i'd make you like one of those three models..

I LOVE the original and the new one is HOT!! I saw it at the NY Auto Show.

I had a VW Golf 2-door hatchback when my son was born, until he was over 3 - it was a nuisance dealing with the back seat and he would fidget and kick the back of the front seats and it felt like it was right in our backs! So I got the 4-door version when he was 3 (kicking was still an issue at times) and again when he was 8. Now he's 15 and he and his friends don't fit so well in the backseat, so I'm looking to go bigger, but I love the VWs and Audis and the Touareg and Q7 are too big and expensive for me.

So, unfortunately, I would not recommend the TT if you'll need to transport your son in it. He's going to do a lot of growing in the coming years!

As with most coupes the back seats are really just for small kids or Douglas Bader. These cars are great. I had a shot of the 225 when they first came out and loved it. If you really do need back seats you may want to have a look at an S3 Audi as they are just as good as the tt but a bit scarcer.

I've driven many cars, nothing with a stick shift drives better than the TT but you can only buy it as a toy. Your kid will out grow the back seat so fast that you won't be able to hand him a gameboy to keep him happy.

The back seat is a tight squeeze for groceries, it's not worth owning unless it's for two passengers or your children/pets are staying home.

the tt is a two seater, make sure you have a good drive in one if your thinking of buying, noisey cars and not all that quick.
did see an A4 soft top the other day 3.0 tdi very nice.

It's an over-priced toy. The back seat is so small that it's really just a two-seater. Yes, it's fast and good performance... but the price tag is just out of line for what you get.

I drove my bosses last week and really didnt like it, I think my Astra handles much better! Have either of you tried driving it? The size of the back seats arent a huge worry are they, surely there are more important conciderations! They are meant to be very reliable though.

its a really nice car, the back is a bit small, if you have a family its not a good idea but if its just the 2 of you - you go for it girl n enjoy!!
