No, it's a surname, it'd be a rubbish first name. Also he'd have to cope with the stigma of continually being likened to defecation by his peers. Young kids are very cruel.

Personally, I don't like it...but there are way weirder names out there than Brown, like Apple, and them other strange celebrity names!!

He will be teased mercilessly all his years at school with "Brown, Brown, flush it down" and cruel names like "s**t-boy". Don't do it.

I don't like it, but that's just my opinion. (Just a thought though, he might get a lot of unwanted and "uncool" nicknames in school).
