No, it's a surname, it'd be a rubbish first name. Also he'd have to cope with the stigma of continually being likened to defecation by his peers. Young kids are very cruel.

Personally, I don't like it...but there are way weirder names out there than Brown, like Apple, and them other strange celebrity names!!
