I totally agree with you. The hills have eyes is better than chainsaw massacre, the saw movies, excorsict etc.

Scary movies are my all time Favorite! (: I seen SO many! (I just go down the rows at Blockbuster!) there has been a couple that have scared me but i cant pick just one so here is by list....
IT -i was scared to shower cause i thought he would come out of the drains! Hate clowns!

The Hills have eyes- I hate the dessert to begin with and that rape seen was over the top for me! yuck! SO sick! >_<

Nightmare on elm street- I can watch it now and laugh, but when i was a kid OMG! that was like my biggest fear! eeekkk!

There you have a it. A cheesy one, a new age one & a classic.

Yeah I watched another nuclear film, two actually. One called "The war game" and the other one was called "Threads" They both depict what would have happened if a nuclear bomb was dropped on England. They were very scary. The thought of this scares the cr*p out of me. Although scary, it's a great movie especially for the guys who want nuclear disarmament.

I love scary movies. I can't say which one is the scariest since they were all really scary. Here are some of my favorites...

The Grudge (can't wait for Grudge 2)

The Entity (Based on true story!)

The Exorcist (A classic)

Dolls (Dolls scary me!)

Poltergeist (Another classic)

the shining starring jack nicholson, and shelley duval, directed by stanley kubrick, it's a horror movie of a very different kind, acting and direction is just superb ! you literally jump, when those twingirls appear. and that garden, where you can not find your way out, jack nicholson as the scizophrenic husband gives a performance ,which is hard to forget.
another movie is , the craft, 4 scool-going beautiful, sexy ,young girls, taking up witchcraft, and the turn of events that follow, the tragedy of it all, is really haunting. all the girls have given credible, realistic performances.
i also like the first omen, exorcist, and earlier dracula movies of peter cushing and christopher lee, you wouldn't sleep at night, if you see them late night !

I guess since im still young, I think the scariest movie for me is "The 6th Sense". It talks about this kid who sees dead people.
