by best i mean easiest and most painless. i do not wish to die soon, but the topic arose in a conversation i was having yesterday, and i was curious to see what you would say.

jumping off a cliff
OD on pills
shoot yourself

well, pinki, i just got through interviewing 400, 328 dead people,(whew! i need a nap). and the consensus among those stinking fellows is that dying in yer sleep is the bomb. go figure. i'd have thought that being crushed by a boulder underwater while you hold yer breath woulda bee the fave. sometimes, ya just can't figger.

none of those apply because for you to get so low that you'd want to shoot yourself or jump off a cliff is pretty bad. Dying in your sleep would be great but I think your question should be What is the worst way to die?

If I'd die unexpectedly, then I'd die with regrets. I want to die forcefully, fighting for my beliefs.
For example, the astronauts that died on the challenger or columbia died in the best way. They took a great risk. I hate the thought of dying quietly in my sleep.

The two most terrible ways to die, have to be drowning, and burning...
the painless way I would think would be to take pills and go to sleep and never wake up.

Seems an overdose on pills would be easiest if no one would find you part way thru AND you had the right pills and took enough.
