Yes. You can get it back on in your name. You just have to make sure that you did not have any illegal usage, because if you did, you will have to take care of that, before they will clear your bill. At the time my bill was real high. like 6000, I filed bankruptcy. But i had noticed that when my bill came out for the next month, it was for the same amount. I called and told them that I had filed bankruptcy, and they said that they will take care of the bill once I took care of the illegal usage. That amount was $1592. yes, once the letter is sent to them from the bankruptcy court or once you let them know of your filing than they are supposed to close out the account and immediately open a new one starting from the day you filed.

If anyone on your list of creditotrs countinues to harass you, you can sue them for going against the bankruptcy order.
