Your insurance should cover it. You can try to go after the car owner's insurance and/or the the driver of the stolen vehicle, but that may not be worthwhile.

Regarding "uninsured motorist" coverage, I found out the hard way that this only takes effect if you can IDENTIFY the uninsured motorist, otherwise you are SOL on that clause.
However, if you have comprehensive insurance that should take care of the damage---your insurance company will pay.
Yes you could theoretically sue the driver, as he/she might be just a kid with rich parents---it's worth a shot. But if it's a junkie, then you'd just be lining up behind the other hundreds of people these clowns have probably ripped off...
If they can't identify the driver and you have no comprehensive insurance, you are screwed, welcome to Victims Anonymous.

The bottom line: the insurance company that insures that car, or your own insurance under collision coverage. The other area would be the victim's assistance program through the prosecuting attorneys office, however, that is more for lost wages, and medical bills.
Unfortunately, it was a crime and it was not the vehicle owner's fault. The "felon"... well, can't get blood from a turnip.

Ultamately it is the owner of the stolen vehicle that is responsible for the accident and damage. Their insurance should cover your damages and their insurance company is also responsible for persuing the theif that wrecked the car to start with.

most likely your insurance will be forced to pay, the other car owner is not responsible as the car was in use by a criminal and the owner did not approve of it's use
