I did and I agree withsome of the other comments. I love her work because it really hooks you, butthis one took a bit to get started. Overall it was really good.

I loved the book... one of my favorites of the Vampire Chronicles after Vampire Lestat & Queen of the Damned. Memnoch started off very slow, but once it picked up I couldn't put it down. I thought The Vampire Armand was much more of a bore than Memnoch. Ann Rice took a character we already loved and put him on an original journey of self exploration using vivid imagery and hitting upon the aesthetic principles of life and death, good and evil... I've read it probably 3 times. Every couple years I like to go back through all of the Chronicles.

I actual have study the 1st 3 interior the Vampire Chronicles. Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, and Queen of the Damned. the 1st one and 2d one i could no longer placed down. The third one dragged on and did no longer make plenty sense and have been given somewhat available. So, i haven't study to any extent further. If I have been you, i could start up on the initiating. Pandora and Virotto won't make particularly some sense as a results of fact those books are built on characters that are intertwined and presented from the initiating of the series. Borders has somewhat good pricing on paperbacks, for those books as a results of fact they are older. I many times pay $7.ninety 9 a e book. attempt used e book shops too. whilst in comparison with Stephenie Meyer? Stephenie Meyer is a plenty greater effective author to me. I actual have study her books assorted cases, while i will in basic terms study the Anne Rice books as quickly as. Stephenie is only plenty greater descriptive and you're plenty greater able to narrate to her thoughts.

I tried once, but kept falling asleep. Maybe it got better later on, but I eventually gave up. Not one of her best (at least not the first 100 pages or so).
