What sort of advanced secret military technology might the US government have?

Why does everyone always assume it's the US that's got all this stuff? Why not Japan? Or France? Or basically any other country at all?

And if they HAVE got all this great stuff (whatever it may be) why are US troops getting slaughtered in their thousands in Iraq? Why can't they put on their bullet-repelling invisi-suits and fry the insurgents with lasers or something?

If they really have got a secret weapon floating in space, why do they sh*t themselves and start conducting very careful diplomacy when North Korea starts testing nuclear weapons? If I had a spaced-based supergun, I don't think a few nukes would bother me.

Do they cover this stuff up because they're shy? Do they not want to appear like the dominant country on the planet? Are they ashamed of having an unfair advantage over their enemies? Witnessing their past behaviour, you could have fooled me.

Or could it be that they've got exactly the same weapons as loads of other countries?

Promise to keep this one secret.... You gotta promise.... Swear to god? If anyone figures out that I told this classified secret, there's a great chance I could end up dead. Or worse I might end up at Guantanamo Bay. So please consider the need for secrecy....Shh,... The government invented a machine which will trace almost everything we do... The only thing the government has left to do before the mission is accomplished is to somehow makes us become interdependent on this secret "weapon" eliminate the competition if you will. They could do this by offering free trials, or at real cheap prices most of us might believe this weapon will help solve certain problems..... You promised you wouldn't tell......... Cerebral connected weaponry - guns, missiles etc. that act on thought of the user rather then physical action.
through building x-ray and weapon systems - see hidden targets in enclosed areas using combination of body heat sensors, movement detectors and ultrasound application.
