True love does not exist

2006-07-22 09:56:25 · answer #1 · answered by Valient25 3 · 0 0

True love is real, deep, abiding love. You have to be with a person through good times and bad times, through all the ups and downs that life throws your way. If you both care enough for each other to give each other room to grow and do things by yourself, if you don't "cling" to that person and make them the 'center of your world' then you are possibly on the path to a deep, meaningful, loving relationship. True love doesn't happen overnight, it is a building of patience, friendship, loyalty, and all the other character qualities that make life better for both of you. I know this from my personal experiences, wait for the 'right person' for YOU, don't settle for second best!

Love is the feeling you feel when you feel that you are about to feel the feeling you've never felt before. (Old saying from my brother's pledge days in college.)

In reality you'll never be sure it's "True Love". When you are in love or just infatuated your judgment is flawed. Everything he/she does just seems so perfect.

Here are the top ten (sorry David Letterman) reasons it MAY be love. If you only have 8 or less, it probably isn't love. Remember be honest when you answer these questions.

10. You are not possessive, you like most of their friends of both sexes.
9. They are not possessive, they like most of your friends of both sexes.
8. You would do anything for them.
7. They respect you so that you wouldn't do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
6. Your friends and family are happy for you.
5. They would do anything for you.
4. You respect them so that you wouldn't do anything that makes them uncomfortable.
3. Their friends and family are happy for them.
2. You are comfortable with yourself when you are with them.
1. You are comfortable with yourself when you aren't with them.

You don't have to feel it. It is just like these!

When you both spend time with some one quite a while and still like each other. You're still in Love!
When you still not listening to your parents and you want to spend time with him even he is cheating. You're still in Love!
When you know he is a liar and still listening to him. You're in Love!
When you both like kissing each other with out brushing teeth and hugging with out taking a bath even you both stink. You're both in love!
When you both wake up each morning and still love to see both of your ugly face. Then you guys are truely in Love!
