With some people it is. I had the same concern years ago while carrying my first. The doctor told me that pregnant women swell more and during the evening that goes down. The baby will reposition and what not. However, always consult with your doctor if you have concerns. Nothing is better then professional medical advice.

It's so hard to say since we are all different and each PG is different as well. I was 120 lbs, 5' 4" and I didn't pop until almost 5months! Weird things are going to happen. Just keep track of anything like severe pain and/or bleeding. Relax and enjoy your PG

Yes, it's normal. I used to find that clothes that fit in the morning, didn't by evening because my bump had become more pronounced. I guess when you're lying down baby has more room to stretch and 'leans' against your spine more.
After you've been on your feet for awhile he gets more scrunched up and the only way to move is out.

Hey Mom - that's your baby moving around in there getting all comfortable. Keep in mind when you eat, he/she is constantly eating and gassing up. (smile) Just watch - your lower abdomen won't be feeling flat too much longer. (smile) Best wishes to you and yours for a wonderful and healthy child.

well.. the uterus moves your insides around to make room for baby. So you might not be blugy yet because its your first preg. If you have strong abs.. you will have less early bulge.
Talk to your doc about any concerns you might have. Im sure you are in the clear after your appt.
Congrats.
PS. just wait til your baby is pushing your ribs out of the way. OUCH

no matter how far you go in your pregnancy when lying on your back your stomach feels smaller, and thats of course w/o being pregnant its the same way, but you will find that the further along you go..lying on your back will be uncomfortable..this sounds normal to me. though, no worries..congratulations and i pray you have a smooth pregnancy and delivery.

Yes, it all seems normal. Just wait until after you deliver the baby...you can press on your stomach and actuall feel the other side of your spine. Congratulations on your pregnancy, I wish you and the baby the best of luck..........
